Today’s Lunch:   Pasta with meat sauce       

 

The blacklight dance is this Friday from 6pm-8pm. Come join us for dancing, food, and games!  Admission is $2.00

 

If anyone needs to see the athletic trainer today, please come to the office immediately following announcements

 

Art Club Members: anyone interested in going on the field trip this Friday, stop by the art classroom door to pick up a permission slip. Your signed permission slip and $2 are due by Thursday, October 31st if you wish to attend.

 

Attention Science Club Members... This is a reminder that this Saturday November 1st is our 1st Park Cleanup date. If you are interested in participating in this great event, please sign up at Room 7. The time participating in the cleanup will go towards your community service hours. Forms for the event are posted on the door of Room 7 as well. 

 

If you are interested in purchasing a Science Club T-Shirt, order forms are on the door of Room 7 as well. Cost for Science Club T-Shirts are $11.00.

 

Spanish Club members, if you are signed up to set up for the black light dance, please be at the high school between 4:30pm and 5pm Friday. 

 

Seniors – Jostens will be here to take your graduation orders this Thursday, October 31st during lunch and study hall. Please make sure you turn your form in at this time. Extra packets are in the office.

 

History League - Shirts are $10.  See Mrs. Sundberg to order yours today.  Last day to order will be Thursday Oct 31.

 

Students interested in National Novel Writing Month don’t forget about our Kick-off Party this Friday in the library from 3-5. Please let Miss Shaffer know if you plan to come.

 

Girls Basketball, boys basketball and Wrestling sign-up sheets are on the office window

 

This week is Red Ribbon Week.  The purpose of Red Ribbon week is to promote awareness of the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse and to celebrate students’ commitments to making good decisions for their health and well being. 

The following activities will take place:

Thursday – Drugs Aren’t Groovy!  Wear tie dye

Friday – On Friday we wear red for Red Ribbon Week

All week – watch for opportunities at lunch to win candy!

 

The Green-Valley Sesquicentennial committee is holding a contest for someone to design their logo that will be used in all advertising materials, parade float, t-shirts, etc. If you are interested, you can pick up a form on the office ledge for more info
