Today’s Events:  Volleyball at Notre Dame   

  • Sophomores--you are in charge of volleyball concessions this year. Please help out by signing up on the door to Room 3!
  • There will be a meeting during the last fifteen minutes of 5a in the lab for all students interested in participating in Scholastic Bowl
  • Boys Basketball players from last year and any boys who are thinking about trying out this year will meet in Boys locker room last 15 minutes of A lunch today
  • Bus for game and practice both leaves at 3:00 today.  If you want drive to game you have to be there by 4:30, otherwise bus leaves at 3!
  • Calling all students! It’s a GREAT time to earn community service hours!  The Popcorn Festival is this weekend and the committee is looking for volunteers to help before, during and after the festival. If you want to go on your Senior Trip or want to be considered for National Honor Society, community service is required!  Please see Mrs. Kerley or sign up on the door of Room 11.
  • Cheerleading Open gym and Tryouts are coming up soon.  Sign up for the open gym happening on Tuesday August 29th at the high school office window.  Cheerleaders should also sign up for popcorn fest and basket time slots. Tryouts are on September 19th, 20th, and 21st
  • Seniors, your senior picture day is Wednesday, August 30th.  Picture information will be passed out to you in your English classes this week.  Even if you do not want to buy pictures, you will need to be photographed that day for your yearbook photo.  Please see Ms. Brodbeck in room 4 if you have any questions. 
  • Freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and faculty:  Your school picture day is Friday, September 1st.  Picture envelopes will be passed out to you in your study halls.  Even if you are not buying pictures, you will still need to have your photograph taken for your yearbook picture.  Please see Ms. Brodbeck in room 4 if you have any questions.
  • This year’s fall musical will be ‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying’, a comedy about a window washer in a New York company who wants to be a CEO and how he goes about achieving his goal. This show takes a large male cast. Auditions will be after school on August 28, 29 and 30 in the music room. These are low/no pressure auditions. Please consider participating. If you have questions please stop by the music room on those dates and talk to Mrs. Switzer or Mrs. Frank.
