The Social Justice Book Club's next book is All American Boys by Jason Reynolds. If you are interested in reading the book, stop by the library or email Miss Shaffer to get a copy. 

Attention science club members. Scan the QR code on Mr. Servis’ door for important science club updates and information. 

Spanish Club will be hosting a Dia de los muertos celebration on Monday, November 2nd, from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. If you are in Spanish Club and you'd like to attend, please see Ms. Brodbeck this week or email her. It's free, but space is limited due to covid restrictions.

Hey National Honor Society and Interact Club members!  We are sponsoring the Manito Community Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, October 31, from 5-6 p.m. It’s time to get creative! Together with a friend - choose a costume, decorate your trunk and help keep this activity going strong! The sign-up sheet is on the NHS bulletin board next to Lab 21. A limit of 2 people per vehicle, please. Please see Mrs. DeSutter or Mrs. Kerley if you have any questions.

Any student that has a friend or family member who is a veteran or active duty, and has not been previously invited to our Veteran’s day celebration, please stop by and give his or her address to Mrs. Sundberg.  If you are not sure, see her anyway and we can make sure they are on the list. We are trying to plan our virtual Veteran’s Day celebration, and want to include all those deserving of recognition.

There will be a flu shot clinic at the high school on October 22nd. If you’d like one, you’ll need to get a form from the office ledge, complete it and return to the office.

Red Ribbon week is this week.  The goal of Red Ribbon week is to raise awareness of the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse.  We will have the following dress up days and a table set up at lunch where you can stop by each day  and earn candy by dressing up and also enter a drawing for a $50 Amazon card.  The dress up days are as follows:

Thursday – Drugs AREN”T groovy – wear your favorite tie dye Friday – Show you support for our Red Ribbon campaign – wear red or Raider gear
