Lunch: Chicken Alfredo
· Anyone interested in trying out for the Cheer squad, please sign up on the office window
· Anyone interested in joining Scholastic Bowl can sign up at the office window. Signups will be up until the last week of October.
· Country general wants our student section packed for tomorrow nights dig for a cure game. Any student that attends the game will be eligible for one of five different $20 gift cards to country general. All you have to do is attend the game and sign up during the game to be entered into the drawing. Let’s pack the stands as our varsity Raiders go for their 20th win of the season.
· Attention all Science Club members. There will be a brief meeting today during the last 15 minutes of 5B study hall today.
· Any student interested in the trades or attending a vocational school is invited to a workshop in the library during 5A. Also, any student interested in learning more about Illinois Wesleyan University can attend an informational session in the library during 5B.
· If either event takes place during your lunch period, please feel free to bring your lunch to the library.
· History League will be meeting for the first 10 minutes of 5A and 5B on Friday to vote on T-Shirt designs, hand out permission slips for our upcoming field trip, and plan for Veterans Day! If you are volunteering with History League for the Veterans Day Breakfast, attendance at the meeting is mandatory. Please see Mrs. Rousseau if you can't make it
· The last day to purchase Dinner Theater tickets will be this Thursday, October 15! Tickets are sold at the Midwest Central High School office. For more information, please contact the office at 309-968-6766. The dinner theater will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, by advance ticket sales only.
· If you are interested in cosmetology and beauty programming, we have a trip planned for November 10th. See Mrs. harbourn if you are interested =)
· Seniors – Josten’s will be back to take your graduation orders during lunch on Thursday, 10/15. Please make sure you turn in your orders at that time. If you missed the class meeting, please pick up a graduation packet in the office.
