ABOUT MIDWEST CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL
Midwest Central High School is a four-year comprehensive secondary school, serving approximately 300 students annually.
Midwest Central High School is dedicated to helping students become life-long learners and productive members of society. Together with parents, students, and our community, we will cooperate in the process of making our children informed, inquiring, and productive citizens who respect themselves and others. To this end, we shall offer each child the opportunity and the care to develop his or her potential.
Our faculty and staff is comprised of approximately 35 highly trained professionals who are committed to each student's well being, safety, and development. We expect high standards while remaining empathetic to each student's circumstances. Our classroom curriculum is aligned with state and federal standards and prepares students to be participants in today's evolving economy and society.
Our curriculum focuses on college and career preparedness. Hard working students can expect to leave high school with college credits and skills that will carry them into employment. We maintain established partnerships with local employers to establish work placement. Partnerships with Illinois Central College allow us to offer Nurse, EMT, and Welding certification programs to our students.
We look forward to working with students each day and encourage you to reach out with questions about our school! Thanks!
