Today’s Lunch: Teriyaki Chicken over Rice
- “The Addams Family” will be Midwest Central’s fall musical. Audition dates are Monday and Tuesday, August 28 and 29 at 3:00 in the Music Room. Call backs will be Wednesday, August 30 at 3 in the Music Room. The musical will be presented on October 19-20-21. Come join us!
- Attention Juniors! The PSAT/NMSQT will be offered October 18th. The test is digital and will last approximately 2 ½ hours. The cost is $12 to test, and there are only 25 spots available. This test will help prepare you for the SAT in the spring and enter you into a pool of National Merit Scholarships. Please see Mrs. Harbourn to sign up or if you have questions.
- Everyone is invited to the Back to School Bash on Friday from 5:30-7:30. Admission is $2. Come and have fun playing an assortment of games like waterballoon volleyball, bags, hill billy golf, and a watermelon eating contest just to name a few! If you ordered a yearbook last year, you can get yours at the bash!
- Any Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior interested in being on Student Council may apply for the Student At – Large position. Applications are on the bulletin board in the horseshoe hallway, or on the door of Room 10. All applications are due back to Miss Sauder (Room 10) by Thursday August 31.
- Any Sophomore, Junior or Senior interested in being the 1st Vice President of Community Service can pick up an application from Miss Sauder in Room 10. All applications are due back to Miss Sauder (Room 10) by Thursday August 31.
- For a short time, our supplier has had difficulty getting our regular milk shipment. The problem is short term and will be fixed. In the meantime, we’ve been informed that if the milk box is shaken gently a few times before opening that the taste of the milk improves
- There will be an FFA Chapter Meeting on Thursday, 8/31 at the Manito Pool Park Pavilion. The activity will be kickball in the lighted diamonds from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Hope to see you there!
- Students – you are not allowed to order food and have it delivered to the school. No Door Dash, Uber Eats, delivery, etc. Thank you!
