Today’s Lunch:  Grilled Pork Chop Sandwich  

  • If you signed up to join Spanish Club, please check your Google Classroom or email for an invite to your Google Classroom. Also, please pay your $2 dues to Ms. Brodbeck by today
  • Monday's home Volleyball game will have the theme of Safari so wear your best lion costume or find you best khaki outfit to wear to school and to the game!  Tuesday's home game theme is Meme Day!  Thursday's home game theme is tie dye! It will be a fun filled week to be a Raider! 
  • National Honor Society applications are due today by 3:00 p.m. You may turn them into the office or to Mrs. Kerley in room 7. Late applications will not be accepted.
  • Students that signed up to be a member of the Interact Club were placed in a drawing to have a chance to win a FREE yearbook!  Congrats to Hawa Fassa and Lilly Jones!  See Mrs. DeSutter in room 20 to receive your FREE yearbook! 
  • We will be doing free days again this year – if you have perfect attendance in the months of September, October, January, February and March you will earn a free half day off of school. These can also be used to buy back a missed half day to keep you from taking finals.
  • Musical rehearsals for the remainder of this week:


Friday, September 8:

Parents Meeting at 6 in the high school music room. Please come. Discussion includes the rehearsal schedule, eligibility, costuming needs and set construction. Please use the back doors by the music room.

6:30-7:30 ALL performers rehearse. 

7:30-8:30 Soloists rehearsal

  • History League will have its first meeting today during study hall!! If you are interested in History League, please go to room 9 during 5A or 5B to vote on plans for the school year. Dues for the year are $2 and are due at the 1st or 2nd meeting. If you are not available on Friday, see Ms. Rousseau to be caught up on the meeting
  • Sign-up sheets for girls basketball, wrestling and boys basketball will be on the office window today.
  • This month Book Club will be reading Scythe by Neal Shusterman. Students can pick up a copy from Miss Shaffer in the library.
  • Student Leadership applications for Fellowship of Christian Athletes are due by the end of the day today. See Miss Shaffer to turn them in or if you have any questions.
  • We will be having a Flu Vaccine clinic October 5th. Please take a packet home to have your parent fill out. They are located on the office ledge. Please return completed forms by September 28th  to the Main Office if you wish to participate.
  • Attention Juniors! The PSAT/NMSQT will be offered October 18th. The test is digital and will last approximately 2 ½ hours. The cost is $12 to test, and there are only 25 spots available. This test will help prepare you for the SAT in the spring and enter you into a pool of National Merit Scholarships. Please see Mrs. Harbourn to sign up or if you have questions.
  •  State of Illinois law mandates every Freshman and new student must have a current health physical by October 15; all Senior students are required to have a meningitis vaccine, by October 15th.  Please turn these papers into the Main office, or to Nurse Denise.
