Book Club’s next book is Inheritance Games, a mystery book about a girl whose life changes after a billionaire she has no connection to dies and she inherits his entire fortune. Books are available for anyone interested in the library.
Detention tonight with Mrs. Schneider
Lady Raiders softball defeated Delavan last night in an exciting game, taking home the 8 to 4 win. The bats were alive with RBIs from Abby Markle and Izzy Passmore and other key hits from Karsyn Skaggs, Addison Frederich, and Emma Junkin. Izzy had an impressive 14 strikeouts with her defense working hard behind her. The Raiders head to Morton tonight for their last game of the week!
Student council will be hosting an easter egg hunt on Friday March 22nd. If you would like to participate you can during your study hall.
Lifeguard applications for the Manito Pool are available in the office. You only need to be 15 to apply. Applications are due no later than April 20th to the office. The Park District would love to have returning guards back, too!
FFA attended public speaking and had many wins! Khloe Tribbet won 2nd and Dereka Egan won 3rd in JV Prepared Speaking. Alaina Askins won 5th in Varsity Prepared Speaking.
