Lunch: Turkey and Cheese Melt
Next week, October 27th-31st is Red Ribbon Week. We will have the following dress up days along with activities during the lunch periods. Be sure to participate and show your support for our Drug and Alcohol Abuse Awareness campaign.
Monday - Wacky Hair, Don't Care - Don't give in to peer pressure
Tuesday - Dress to Impress, A clean look for a clean life
Wednesday - Give Drugs the Boot - Wear your favorite Western gear
Thursday - Red Express: All aboard for a drug free future - Wear Red
Friday - Say Boo to Drugs - Dress up for Halloween (school appropriate - no masks, fake blood, weapons)
You can still sign up for the bags tournament until Wednesday. Mrs. Sarff will post the tournament brackets on Thursday 10/23 on the trophy case in the Raider Hallway. The games will be played next week during the lunch periods.
There will be an Interact Club meeting the last 15 minutes of 5A for freshmen and sophomores and the last 15 minutes of 5B for juniors and seniors today. The meeting will be in Mrs. DeSutter's room. It is required that you attend the meeting or talk with Mrs. DeSutter if you cannot attend.
There will be a senior class meeting Thursday in the library during 5B for seniors interested in senior class trip.
Interact Club members are required to help with the Trunk or Treat or Veterans Day or Rotary Sale to be an active member. Please sign up for Trunk or Treat and/or Veteran's Day on the Interact bulletin board ASAP.
Student Activities will be hosting a pumpkin decorating contest. They will be judged by teachers on your creativity, neatness, and effort. All pumpkins must be turned in by October 27 and the winners will be announced on October 29. The first place winner will get a prize basket, the 2nd place winner will get a $5.00 Casey’s gift card, and the third place winner will receive a bag of candy.
Girls basketball, Boys Basketball, Wrestling and Scholastic Bowl sign ups are on the office window!
Midwest Central High School will present “Shrek the Musical” on October 23, 24, and 25, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Forman Center in Manito. Tickets will be sold at the door.
