Ashlyn Nelson, a senior at Midwest Central High School, has been selected by the faculty and staff at Student of the Month in Art. Ashlyn is the daughter of Tim and Amanda Nelson of Manito.
Throughout high school, Ashlyn has been involved in Student Council and is co-president of National Honor Society. After graduation, Ashlyn plans on attending Illinois State University with a major in English Education and a minor in theatre.
Ashlyn personally thanks the Midwest Central School District for selecting her for this program.
