 Students 16 years and older: The Village of Manito is looking for part-time help this summer mowing and doing odd jobs. It would be approximately 30 hours a week, pay is $12 an hour. You can apply at Manito Village Hall.

 Any student wishing to earn community service points by helping out at the JH and HS track meets, please see Mr. Norris.

 The Rotary Club House League is looking for seasonal employees to work during evening softball and baseball games. Positions include pitchers, catchers, 1st basemen and umpires. Please sign up on the door of Room 11 OR see Mrs. Kerley.

 If you’d like to purchase a t-shirt for the May 22nd Softball Ulcerative Colitis Awareness Game in honor of Sue Reining, please pick up an order form on the office ledge.

 Don’t forget to stop by the library this month to celebrate School Library Month. This week’s challenge is Blackout Poetry to celebrate Poetry Month. See Miss Shaffer to participate in this week’s challenge. You can also checkout a book or checkout an e-book for the chance to earn prizes this month.

 The last day to check out books from the library is April 30.

 On April 27, National Honor Society will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive in the gym. Students 16 and older can donate during the school day. Donors under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. The sign-up sheet is on the office window. One pint of blood can save up to 3 lives. Please help to make our blood drive a success…we know you’ve got it in you!
