Today’s question is “What did the teacher say the hippo is in the song “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas?” You can submit your guess at lunch for a chance for your name to be put into a drawing.
If you do not have to take finals in your 6th, 7th, or 8th hour classes, you are eligible to “buy out” of those classes in your lunch period today and Monday for $1 per hour. Movies will be played during those hours on Wednesday, December 15th in the cafeteria.
Any student interested in attending a teen conference in January with Ms. Lee, please see her in her office. These conferences are great for connecting with other peers in the area; also, it is a great experience to put on a scholarship application. Registration forms are due today.
Manito Crusaders are looking for volunteers to help with this weekend’s Breakfast with Santa at the American Legion. They need students to help with setting up on Friday night from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. to help with serving breakfast. If you are interested in helping, sign up on Room 5’s door and show up at the Manito American Legion! This time counts as Community Service, Mrs. Palmer will sign off on your hours.
