Midwest Central Basketball swept a pair at home Thursday night in their last regular season game against Norwood. Seventh grade girls won 40–9 to finish at 13-9. Kallie H led the with 13 points on her 13th birthday. Evan M had eight points, Libby D has seven points and Kinley H., Emma D, Emery F, Faith D, Payton B, and Bella C all had 2 points each. Eighth grade girls won 65–15 to finish 18-4. Peyton B lead the way with 28 points, Nora D had 13 points, Sophia H. had nine, Jaina B had five, Kynlie H. had four, Kallie H had 2, Emma D had two and Zoey C added 2. Good luck to the girls’ basketball team playing Norwood at home tonight at 5:30pm!
The Raiders basketball teams picked up a pair of wins on Thursday night sweeping the Rankin Rebels!
The 7th grade got things going in the right direction, with a 36-14 victory! Evan Kolves led the charge with a game high 10 points and Nicky Frank added 7 as 8 different Raiders hit the scoring column.
In the 8th grade game the Raiders pulled away in the second quarter, going on a 13-0 run to get the 50-29 win! Jaxton Bolen had a game high 20 points, Jase Canada added 17 of his own and Aden Bell added 6 points as the Raiders breezed to their seventh victory!
The Raiders look to keep things going with a home game tonight against Mt. Pulaski @ 5:30pm!
