Raiders - We had to make a change to the 2025-26 supply list. The only item that changed was for 5th Grade. Students no longer need a trapper keeper; it was replaced with 3-inch ring Binder with pockets.
You can find the updated supply list here: https://core-docs.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/documents/asset/uploaded_file/1317/MCPS/5671620/PS-Supply_List_FY26.pdf

Our kindergarten class had an exciting field trip to the Bartonville National Airbase! The students learned all about cargo planes—how they work, what they carry, and why they’re so important.
We were in for a huge surprise when an F-16 jet flew into the base while we were there! The kids, teachers, and parents were thrilled to see it up close. A big thank you to the amazing staff at the airbase for such an unforgettable experience! 🇺🇸🚀

Last week, Ms. Timm had the pleasure of recognizing two outstanding Primary School students during the Illinois Principals Association breakfast for their consistent efforts to go above and beyond in their academic, social, and behavioral expectations. These students are 5th grader Emma Ihnen and 3rd grader Thomas Pettijohn. Way to go Raiders!

Many thanks to Mark Berg for 24 years of service on the Board of Education. His leadership has helped Midwest Central become an amazing district where employees and students feel valued and appreciated. He will be missed!
