Friday night, Lady Raiders hosted Senior Night and UC Night in honor of Sue Reining. Raiders defeated Midland 8-2, and maxed out on their pledges, earning 11 hits as a team. Taylor Keihn was celebrated before and after the game, "signing out" one last time and doing her final lap around the bases on our home field. During game play, Lexi Wood earned the win in the pitcher's circle and dominated offensively, going 3 for 4 at the plate with 2 doubles and a single. Raiders' offense was fierce with Addison Friedrich also going 3 for 4, Grace Meeks going 2 for 3, and Emma Junkin, Mia Warner, and Keihn each earning a hit as well. It was an exceptional way to wrap up the regular season. Thank you to the parents for all of their hard work toward a successful Senior and UC Night!

Kelsey Sharp, a senior at Midwest Central High School, has been selected by faculty and staff as Student of the Month in Business Technology. Kelsey is the daughter of Brad and Jamie Siltman of Manito.
Throughout high school, Kelsey has been involved with the yearbook, serving as editor her senior year, capturing moments to be cherished forever at various events. Kelsey also participated in CARY Club.
After graduation, Kelsey plans to attend Illinois Central College (ICC) and then transfer to Illinois State University (ISU) for a Minor in Journalism and a Major in Business Finance.
Kelsey would like to personally thank Mrs. Frank and all faculty of the Midwest Central School District for this opportunity.

The high school band and choir had their spring concert in the park on Saturday. It was a gorgeous day to play outside, and everyone performed wonderfully. Lilly Danner won the John Philip Sousa award, and Remi Kraft won the National Choir Award. Congratulations!
