With our efforts to assist the Manito Police Department in their training exercises, they will be conducting a training activity at the HS today. You will notice numerous police vehicles on our property during their training exercise. They ask that you do not come onto the property during that time.
The maintenance crew has worked hard before break and during break to get the new bleachers set up before the first MS track meet on April 1. They had to fight the wind and elements this week to put the finishing touches on it.

The sirens have stopped and students are being released and buses are being loaded thank you for your patience and understanding as we take pride in keeping our students safe.

Hello Raiders -
Out of abundance and precaution we have unloaded buses and have instructed our teachers and students to take shelter in our buildings until the tornado sirens stop going off in Green Valley. Our budlings are reinforced concrete and steel and the safest place for students to be at the moment. I will put out an all call when we've cleared the buses for home transport.

Midwest Central's Spanish 4 class took a field trip to see a Latino music and dance show by the talented Flamenco Ballet out of Miami, Florida. We saw everything from traditional Spanish flamenco to Cuban salsa to Columbian cumbia.
