Our Raiders headed to powerhouse East Peoria last night for some tough matches between East Peoria, Olympia and Illini Bluffs. Every wrestler battled hard and left it all on the mat!
Liam Zimmerman went undefeated for the night as he secured his first high school win with a pin. His 2nd match came down to the wire as he got the win in overtime. Both matches had our fans going crazy!!
Kamden Merrill added another pin to his season. His 2nd match he fell just short to last year’s IHSA State Champion!
Remington Vonderheide continues to show dominance on the mat as he pinned his only opponent for the night.
“This young class is starting to put things together. Every time they step on the mat they look like new and improved wrestlers!”

It was a night to remember for the Midwest Central Raiders as all four levels of their basketball program brought home the W, delivering a clean sweep for the ages!
In a night packed with edge-of-your-seat action, the Junior High Raiders put on a *masterclass* of determination and grit, taking down Chester East Lincoln in a clean sweep!
The 7th-grade squad came out with fire in their eyes, determined to keep their *perfect season alive.* They dominated the court with precision and hustle, locking in a 38-17 victory and preserving their undefeated record. Every play was a testament to their *unwavering resolve* and team chemistry.
But the 8th-grade boys stole the show in *dramatic, heart-stopping fashion.* In a nail-biting finish that had fans on their feet, the Raiders fought tooth and nail to secure a razor-thin 35-34 victory. The final moments were a whirlwind of intensity, showcasing their *unbreakable will* and championship mentality.
The Junior Varsity squad set the tone with a *statement victory,* annihilating South Fulton 70-21. JJ Proehl and Jake Hummel led the charge, with Proehl tying for the team-high 8 points and Hummel close behind with 7. In an incredible display of teamwork, *every single Raider etched their name into the scoring column.* Max Denny was an unstoppable force on the boards, snatching 11 rebounds to seal the deal.
Not to be outdone, the Varsity team kept the momentum rolling, outlasting their rivals 63-56 in a hard-fought battle. Josh Dawe and Brenden Carton put on a *scoring clinic,* combining for an electrifying 41 points, with Dawe dropping 20 and Carton lighting up the court with 21. Malachi Carroll added a clutch 11 points, while Ryan Terrill dominated both ends with 9 points and 11 rebounds. Dawe showed off his playmaking skills, dishing out 6 assists to keep the offense humming.
