MCHS Science Club has been a core staple for many years in Manito, IL. Under the tutelage of Mr. Servis, the students actively participating in Science Club perform after school experiments (like the bacteria culture sampling lab in the pictures provided), participate in the high school’s recycling program, and visit scientific venues from the St. Louis Science Center to the Field Museum in Chicago to further expand their knowledge of this unique content area. We perform park cleanups throughout the community and fundraise through Fannie Mae to help keep our extracurricular club going. Science is the study of the natural world through observation and experimentation, and the MCHS Science Club follows that through all endeavors.
