For the 2022-2023 school year...
A scholarship trust was established by Mr. Charles A. Beebe, past President and Director of Peoples State Bank, now Manito Community Bank. The income derived from the scholarship trust is paid out annually to graduates of Forman and MCHS for the purpose of assisting in higher education. Since inception in 1976, and including 2021, $1,997,997 has been paid out in scholarship funds!!!
Applications for the Charles A. Beebe Scholarship Fund is available on March 1st, 2022 at MCHS or at Manito Community Bank. Applications must be filled out, signed and returned to Manito Community Bank, PO Box 646, Manito, IL 61546 or emailed to Suzanne.friesz@mortonbank.com no later than May 13, 2022. You must be a graduate of Forman High School or MCHS and be furthering your education to qualify for this scholarship.

Midwest Central baseball had another offensive explosion winning 20-0 versus Illini Central Monday night. Leading the way was Braden Johnson with a perfect 3 for 3 and 3 RBI's. Aiden Askins collected two doubles and 2 RBI's. Collin Parkin laced two hits and tallied 3 RBI's. Eli Woodley beat IC pitching for a 2 for 2 game. Also having extra base hits were Logan Justus and Kyle Uselton. TJ Pfeiffer picked up the shutout victory.

Alexa Kerley, a senior at Midwest Central, was honored at the Illinois Principals’ Association Annual Student Recognition Breakfast held at Countryside Banquet Facility in Washington, IL on Monday, April 25. Mr. Lazarz presented her with a Certificate of Achievement. Alexa is the daughter of Calvin and Bree Kerley.
The Lady Raiders were victorious over Dee-Mack Saturday. Isabella Passmore earned the victory in the pitcher's circle. The bulldog lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out 12 and walking one. The Lady Raiders tallied ten hits in the game. Olivia Lewis and Leah Boehm each had multiple hits. Lewis led with four hits in four at bats. The Raiders didn't commit a single error in the field.
The Lady Raiders play again tonight with a varsity game at Morton.

The Raiders beat SF by a score of 23-8. Leading the hit parade was Connor Allen with a home run and 5 RBI's. Logan Justus had three hits and 4 RBI's. Collin Parkin had two big hits and 4 RBI's. TJ Pfieffer picked up 2 RBI's with two hits. Karter Richardson continued his hot hitting with three more hits. Carrying the pitching load was Eli Woodley.
