The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) has been available since October 1st.
The FAFSA is a graduation requirement (or the OPT out form), and access to all federal grants (FREE MONEY) and subsidized student loans. If you don’t have time or don’t like to shop, we have elves that will do the shopping for you. All you have to do is drop off your cash or check (made payable to Midwest Central with "Snow Buddies" in the memo line) to any of the school offices.
All presents need to be turned in by 12/12/22 to the Primary School.

Last night the Lady Raiders won their season opener here at home 58-34 against Heyworth. Karsyn Skaggs drained two threes for 6 points. Makayla Morris had 2 steals and Courtney Maslana played great defensive for the ladies along with Faith Harper's 18 points. Carly DeSutter nets 13 with a buzzer-beater to end the game, and Cora DeSutter added 19 along with Maddie Sidwell’s 2 points and 9 rebounds. The Lady Raiders play again Saturday in Brimfield.
Cora DeSutter signed with ICC to play basketball for the Cougars next year. Midwest Central is proud of Cora's accomplishments and wishes her the best of luck in her future.

Meet the Raiders will be held tonight in the HS gym. The pep band will begin playing at 5:30. At 6:00 the introduction and performances of the members of the pep band, cheerleading, girls basketball, and boys basketball will commence.

All High School students in Tazewell County are invited to attend the “Teens Unlimited” Teen Conference.
The purpose of the Conference is to
1) present information on topics relevant to teen issues
2) encourage self-awareness
3) provide a basis for leadership
If you are interested in attending the conference on January 13th, pick up a registration sheet from Mrs. Harbourn. They are due by December 10th.
Kayla Julius, a senior at Midwest Central High School, has been selected by the faculty and staff as Student of the Month in Math. Kayla is the daughter of Cheri Julius of Manito.
Throughout high school, Kayla has been involved in Student Council, National Honor Society, Interact Club, Science Club, and History League. She is also the President of Student Council.
After graduation, Kayla plans on finishing her training in the Army National Guard and furthering her education at an undecided college.
Kayla personally thanks Midwest Central School District for selecting her for this program.
