
Seniors - Order forms for graduation photos are available on the office ledge. There are two separate order forms – one is for the group class photo and one is for individual cap and gown photos. You may also order online at hrimaging.com

Today Drew Canada signed his Letter of Intent to attend Greenville College to continue his academics and basketball career. We are proud of Drew for his accomplishments while in high school and wish him the best of luck in his future.


The HS baseball game scheduled at Athens for tonight has been cancelled due to poor field conditions. A makeup date has not been set at this time.


Please note - We made a change to the 2024-25 school year calendar due to a conflict with Homecoming.
Instead of no school on February 7, 2025 for Teacher Institute, we will have no school on February 14th.

Congratulations to the Midwest Central High School and Middle School recipients of the Illinois Principal Association Award! From the Middle School -Max Dierker and Emalyn Wooding and from the high school - Drew Canada and Courtney Maslana.




The Raider Roast Cafe took their skills on the road yesterday to serve the middle school staff! We served iced coffee, lemonade, and iced tea. Thanks to Mr. Beal and his students for making and transporting our coffee cart to make our jobs easier.





Midwest Central JV baseball picks up the win over Dee-Mack 14-9. The Raiders pounded out 11 hits with Zach Highland, Ryan Terrill, Josh Dawe, and Kam Merrill all collecting multiple hits. Jaxon Palmer had 3 RBIs on the night and Dalton Johnson, Highland and Dawe picked up 2 RBIs. Johnson picked up the win in relief firing 2 innings, striking out one and allowing only 1 run. The Raiders play again on Thursday against Dee Mack as they honor their seniors for Senior night!


Ms. Timm, Mrs. Jackson, Mr. Mooney, Mrs. Matthews, Mr. Welch, and Mr. Norris... simply put, YOU ROCK!


Alaina Askins, a senior at Midwest Central High School, has been selected by the faculty and staff as the Student of the Month in Business and Technology. Alaina is the daughter of Johnnie Askins and Michelle Marshall-Askins.
Throughout high school, Alaina has been involved in FFA, Student Council, Spanish Club, National Honors Society, Band, Cheerleading, Interact Club, Art Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Spirit Committee, and Yearbook. She currently serves as the second year Yearbook Editor, second Vice President for the State Illinois Association of Student Councils, second year chapter FFA Officer, as well as the President this year.
After graduating, Alaina plans to attend Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to major in Nursing to obtain her BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) and further get her CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist).
Alaina would like to personally thank Miss. Sauder and all of her FFA Advisors for pushing her to be the best person she can be and the many opportunities they have given her.


Midwest Central Graduate Highlight
Kevin Chaney ( 2022 ) is a member of the St. Ambrose University cross country and track teams. Kevin runs long distance in outdoor track and has cut times in the 800m and 1500m events. Kevin also participates in St. Ambrose’s cross-country team which is in the fall. Keep up the great work Kevin! #RaiderFAST!
