
On Saturday, 2 MCHS students had the honor of performing in the ILMEA All-State Concert. They got to rehearse with 200 other students from all over the state and work with exceptional directors all weekend. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication. Congratulations!

Please note the following important information about Monday night's Sectional Championship at Midwest Central Middle School:
1. Season passes cannot be accepted. Admission is cash only! Per IESA: $5 for HS students & adults. $3 for K-8 students & senior citizens (62+).
2. Gates open at 5:30 PM - Parking is limited. The following are parking options: the main parking lot at the Middle School, designated areas in the front of the school, the teacher parking lot behind the school, and overflow parking at Green Valley Centennial Park. If possible, carpooling would be greatly appreciated.
3. SHUTTLE Option: There will be a shuttle provided from Centennial Park to the gym that will run every 5-8 minutes before and after the game. Pick up and drop off will be in the designated spot in front of the gym.
4. We know you are excited to cheer on our Raiders! However, please note that the display of signage, banners, balloons, or noise making devices are PROHIBITED during IESA State Series Tournament Play!
5. We know you will want to capture photos of this amazing game, but please note that FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY is prohibited.

The HS girls basketball game scheduled for tonight has been cancelled.


The HS Lady Raiders are scheduled to host Stark County tonight. A determination will be made later today whether the game will be played or not.

The HS Boys Basketball games scheduled for Monday night at the Triopia Tournament have been postponed to Wednesday due to Triopia not having school tomorrow. Tuesday nights games are still being played as scheduled.

The Raiders hit the road for some matches.
Grant Rasmussen took control of the whole match and had a win by pin in the third period.
Remington Vonderheide wrestled up a weight class but still got the job done pinning both of his opponents.
Kamden Merrill added another pin to his season.
Mauyid BenGuzzi fought hard and had a pin as well!
We will be back at Leroy this Saturday for a big Varsity tournament.






Saturday night, the High School basketball team hosted their first Coaches vs. Cancer game. Olympia made the drive over in the cold temperatures to team up with MCHS for this event. T shirts were purchased, gondolas we devoured, and donations were taken. The team will be presenting the proceeds to a young girl in the community who is going through treatments. It was such a great night to be a Raider.



Saturday night, the High School basketball team hosted an alumni game featuring 23 former players, a former manager, and two former coaches. The white team ended up winning by one point. It was a very fun and competitive game in front of a packed house!
