
Battling through the cold and wind, the Raiders JV won again 4-3 over Peoria Heights on another walk-off, this time by Rylan Nowack! The Raiders scored 3 in the final inning with RBIs by Braden Johnson, Collin Parkin, and the walk off RBI for Rylan Nowack. Braden Johnson was the winning pitcher for the Raiders, allowing 2 earned runs on 2 hits and 2 walks while striking out 2.


The Raiders host Peoria Heights today at 4:30 with a V game start. JV will follow the V game. Good Luck Raiders!

Mrs. DeSutter's BSAA class has been working in the greenhouse to get plants ready for the raised garden beds at the high school. We have tomatoes, cabbage, cilantro, and peppers ready for the garden! We even transplanted 113 tomatoes today! Peas and cabbage are almost ready to harvest. We are ready for spring!

The Lady Raiders defeated South Fulton on Monday. Pitcher Kloe Norris took the win, allowing two hits, zero runs, and striking out eight over five innings of work. The team tallied eight hits in the game. Grace Smith and Karsyn Skaggs each collected two hits. The win brings their current record to 1-1.


The Lady Raiders travel to S Fulton on 3/21/22 to play a V game starting at 4:30. Good Luck Ladies!

The Raiders opened up their season with an extra inning, come from behind victory over IVC by a score of 3-2! The Raiders got stellar pitching from TJ Pfeiffer (4 innings pitched, 2 hits, 2 strikeouts, 0 earned runs) and Eli Woodley (4 innings pitched, 4 hits, 3 strikeouts, 1 earned run) with Woodley picking up the win in relief. On offense the Raiders pounded out 9 hits, with multiple hits from Collin Parkin, Eli Woodley, and Rex Watts and extra base hits by Pfeiffer, Woodley, Parkin, and the game winning double by Logan Justus in the 8th inning! The Raiders move to 1-0 on the young season.


FAFSA Workshop- March 23rd, 2022
We are so grateful to have another opportunity for students and parents to meet with our ISAC representative to complete the FAFSA. The FAFSA is a graduation requirement, and the application that determines that amount of grant money (free money) and federal loans for postsecondary education. If you are not completing the FAFSA, you need to fill out the OPT out form. This workshop is an open forum between 4:30-6:00 PM in the HS library. If you have completed the FAFSA and have questions about your student aid report, you can come as well!!

Three of our high school seniors competed in the American Welding Society competition on March 17th in East Peoria. There were two divisions- high school and college/trades.
Frank Brackney III and Ethan Klassen participated in the high school division. Frank took home 1st place, and Ethan took home 2nd... WOW!!!! The third student, Cole Muhich, competed in a very tough college/trade school division. His instructor was proud of his performance, and his project.
We are screaming from the roof tops- CONGRATULATIONS RAIDERS!!! We are very proud!!!
There will be two contests this semester, and we are exciting to see what is in store for our seniors!
