Update from Dr. Hellrigel:
Hello Raiders,
The sirens have stopped and students are being released and buses are being loaded thank you for your patience and understanding as we take pride in keeping our students safe.
Have a good evening!

From Dr. Hellrigel:
Hello Raiders -
Out of abundance and precaution we have unloaded buses and have instructed our teachers and students to take shelter in our buildings until the tornado sirens stop going off in Green Valley. Our budlings are reinforced concrete and steel and the safest place for students to be at the moment. I will put out an all call when we've cleared the buses for home transport.
Thank you,
Todd Hellrigel

The museum had many interactive exhibits for students (we especially loved all of the buttons in the 1860 Presidential Campaign control room)!

Last night, the Varsity Lady Raiders took on the Eureka Hornets in Eureka. Though the girls came short of the win, they showed great potential for a competitive season. Lexi Wood stepped in the circle for 5 innings, followed by Maddie Lowers with Emma Junkin staying strong behind the plate. Wood, Junkin, Grace Meeks, Houston Butler, and Mia Warner each collected a hit, and overall, the girls showed patience at the plate, earning six walks in the game. The Lady Raiders take on Pleasant Plains at home tonight at 4:30. Coaches are excited to watch the girls continue to compete and play as a team!

The Raiders baseball team enjoyed a team event on Saturday afternoon at the Putt Club in East Peoria. While there they enjoyed pizza, breadsticks, miniature golf, bags, and video games.
